What is Apprenticeship: Apprenticeship is a combination of on-the-job training
and related classroom instruction in which workers learn the practical
and theoretical aspects of a highly skilled occupation. Wages and Benefits: Apprentices receive semi-annual wage increases based on successful completion of schooling and on-the-job training.
The following documents must be provided at the time of application: 1. Driver’s License 2. Birth Certificate or Passport 3. High School Diploma or GED Equivalency 4. Official, Sealed Transcripts showing one of the following: A. One year of high school algebra with a passing grade B. One semester of college algebra with a passing grade In leiu of items 3 and 4 above, the applicant may submit undisputable evidence of a minimum of 4000 hours of electrical construction experience. This evidence must be in the form of official documents such as W2 forms and/or paycheck stubs. Upon submitting an application the applicant will be scheduled for the next available Aptitude Test. The Aptitude Test is a 2 ½ hour exam which covers Reading Comprehension and Algebra, and are scheduled at various times during the year. -Buena Homes Builder.
